Hand Cut Print

A series of experimental prints in which there were restrictions on what could be designed and cut from the blocks. The requirements were to only make vertical, horizontal, curved lines, and to have intersecting lines in the piece. For this piece, I created an outward spiral that had horizontal lines that crossed the piece inverting in color every time it intersected. This pattern created a lot of movement with a visual rhythm that would pull your eye around the piece.
