Cloktoberfest

As an intern at the NAWCC, one of the many projects I worked on was a poster and logo for the museums Cloktoberfest event. This event is part of the Smithsonian's Free Museum Day which allows the museum to become free to the public for a day. This is the museums most trafficked day of the year, and there are special events such as, a behind the scenes tour, food and drink, even a steam punk styled fashion show. For this 18 x 24 inch poster, I took inspiration from the fascinating inner-workings of the mechanical clocks and watches that so many collectors and horologist love.
