Champion of the People

Champion of the People is my Senior Thesis project. For this project, we were given a file containing The New York Times Magazine header, and were instructed to create 64 magazine covers based on 8 different topics. The topics I chose were Whisk(e)y, climate change & environmental issues, personal technology, music, politics, sports, health, and society. I created well over 64 covers reaching roughly 130 covers during the semester. These covers were then to be narrowed down to 10 covers. The “Mystery Guest Critiquer” that was brought into chose covers picked 17 final covers. These covers will be shown at the 2019 Spring Senior Exhibition. These covers are student work and have no affiliation with The New York Times company. Therefore the opinions and discussions brought up with them do not reflect those of The New York Times.
